Honkai Star Rail Android Controller Support [Check Description]
My device is Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 with android 10 version (OneUI), not custom rom. The controller I used in the video is 8bitdo N30 Pro 2. I also tried a few controllers and there are problems: (Updated 02/10/24) 8bitdo N30 Pro 2 - I can’t access map shortcut with the select button, but can accessed in start/options menu. Update 10/01/23 current version 1.3 Ultimate now activates with left trigger/L2. L3 and R3 doesn’t work on inventory navigation. Since changing device from Android 10 to now 13, ultimates stopped working again. 8bitdo Ultimate Bluetooth - Not compatible Official Dualshock 4 - Buttons are messed up, maybe due to samsung did not add official support (it appears as wireless controller in bluetooth), unusable. Ipega SW-021A - Buttons are mapped correctly, map shortcut works. The ultimate works, but it activates without holding the left trigger. It activates while using normal attack (X button). Gamesir T4 Mini - 02/10/24 update: due to having xbox mode (iOS pairing), 100% working Gamesir T3S - 02/10/24 update: this one also has xbox/iOS pairing mode, 100% working Gulikit Elves NS18 - not compatible Gamesir G8 Galileo - not compatible Gamesir T4 Cyclone Pro - (added 02/08/24) All buttons working, select for map, and using ultimates work. Just need to put controller on iOS mode (B + Home), it actually puts the controller on Xbox mode. Android detects it as Xbox controller. Unbranded Z01 Controller - a controller I stumbled upon, it has an Xbox mode. All buttons working, select for map, and ultimates activate when pressing left trigger + 1 of face buttons. 1 minor issue, the xbox mode when paired with android uses Switch layout (B is A, A is B, X is Y and Y is X). No way of remapping the controller itself, but can change some bindings in game. I can’t guarantee if all android devices will work with a controller. I haven’t tried any other devices I have. I mainly play on my tablet and on PC. I just tried controller support, because I read it on reddit. Will update this description, once I tried more controllers and android devices.
